Gloves Holdings, LP, which supplies personal protective equipment under the trade name Protective Industrial Products, has reported a data breach that compromised personal information. Unusual activity was detected on the company's network, followed by efforts to secure the system and a subsequent investigation. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized actor gained access to Gloves Holdings' network on September 12, 2024 and extracted copies of certain files.
By October 4, 2024, the investigation confirmed that data stolen in the Gloves Holdings data breach included names, Social Security numbers, and driver’s license numbers. The company is notifying the affected individuals.
