Financial Risk Mitigation, Inc. (FRM), a corporate investigative firm, is notifying individuals about a recent incident involving the unauthorized access to personal information. The incident occurred between September 28 and September 29, 2023, when certain FRM systems were compromised.
Upon investigation, it was discovered on November 10, 2023 that the compromised files contained personal information belonging to 10,799 individuals. The information accessed in the breach, which the company said was obtained as part of its due diligence, employment or other screening services, includes names, addresses and Social Security numbers.
