Calibrated Healthcare Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Calibrated Healthcare data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Calibrated Healthcare, LLC recently reported a data breach that involved unauthorized access to its network between February 25 and February 26, 2024. Calibrated, which provides administrative and clinical healthcare services across the U.S., discovered the suspicious activity on February 26, 2024, and took its systems offline to investigate. The investigation revealed that certain files containing healthcare-related personal information were likely copied without authorization. The compromised data includes names, dates of birth, medical diagnoses/treatment information, health insurance details, and in some cases, Social Security numbers and driver's license numbers. Calibrated has since notified affected clients and is collaborating with them to inform the potentially impacted individuals.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Calibrated Healthcare to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
