U.S. Drug Mart Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the U.S. Drug Mart data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice about the breach or believe they were impacted.
U.S. Drug Mart, a pharmacy in Midlothian, Texas, recently notified the state attorney general that it had experienced a data breach.
Though not much information is known about the incident, the pharmacy reported that the breach affected 13,771 individuals and occurred between August 1 and August 5, 2023. The compromised information may have included consumers' full names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers and medical information.
It is unclear whether U.S. Drug Mart has directly notified affected individuals.
If you believe your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force U.S. Drug Mart to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
