Knight Barry Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Knight Barry data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Knight Barry, a title insurance agency, recently reported that it had experienced a data breach in which certain files stored on its computer network were encrypted with malware.
An investigation revealed that an unauthorized actor had gained access to its systems between July 25 and August 15, 2023, potentially acquiring sensitive consumer data such as names, Social Security numbers, government-issued ID information and financial account details.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Knight Barry to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
