As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Keesal, Young & Logan, a business law firm with offices in San Francisco, Long Beach, Seattle, Anchorage, and Hong Kong, has announced a significant data breach affecting personal information of 316,350 individuals. On June 13, 2024, the firm detected unusual activity on its network, prompting action to secure the environment and an investigation with the help of third-party forensic specialists.
The investigation discovered that unauthorized access to the network took place between June 7 and June 13, 2024. On October 28, 2024, the firm confirmed that personal data, including names, Social Security numbers, financial account information, driver's license numbers, passport numbers, government identification numbers, birth dates, medical information, health insurance details, taxpayer identification numbers, biometric data, and usernames with passwords, may have been compromised.
In light of the Keesal, Young & Logan data breach, the firm plans to directly inform affected individuals by sending notification letters to their mailing addresses.
