Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the DES data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
DES Architects + Engineers has recently reported that 1,144 individuals may have had their personal information compromised in a data breach that took place last year.
On October 19, 2023, DES’s computer systems were disrupted by malicious encryption. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized party had infiltrated DES’s network between September 7 and October 21, 2023 and extracted files. According to a data breach notice posted on the firm's website, the compromised information included consumers’ names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account information, passport numbers, medical information, health insurance details, dates of birth, and payment card information.
The integrated design firm is now notifying affected individuals about the DES Architects + Engineers data breach.
