Bradford-Scott Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Bradford-Scott data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Bradford-Scott Data, LLC, a technology and service provider for businesses, is currently notifying individuals on behalf of its customers about a data breach discovered on the company's network around July 2, 2023. Files were likely copied without authorization between May 19 and May 28, 2023, affecting personal information such as names and Social Security numbers of individuals related to Bradford-Scott's customers. The company is working with data owners to provide ongoing notifications to impacted individuals.
According to a data breach notification provided to the Maine attorney general's office, some of Bradford-Scott's affected customers include Massachusetts Family Federal Credit Union, Methuen Federal Credit Union, Priority Plus Federal Credit Union, and StagePoint Federal Credit Union.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Bradford-Scott to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
