Drug Free Workplaces Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Drug Free Workplaces data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
In late October 2023, Drug Free Workplaces sent notice of a data security incident during which an unauthorized individual gained access to two employee email accounts between March 29, 2023, and May 4, 2023.
The incident has reportedly exposed roughly 37,705 individuals’ personal information, including names and Social Security numbers.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Drug Free Workplaces to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
