SinglePoint Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the SinglePoint data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On November 30, 2023, SinglePoint Outsourcing, Inc. discovered a potential data breach and launched an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized individual had accessed certain files between November 8 and November 9, 2023. SinglePoint conducted a review to assess the potential impact and identify the affected individuals, and this review was completed on January 11, 2024. The personal information that may have been compromised includes individuals' first and last names in combination with data such as Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, and/or bank account information.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force SinglePoint to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
