Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc. and Live Nation Entertainment Co. have joined the ranks of companies facing lawsuits for allegedly refusing to issue refunds after the coronavirus pandemic disrupted the lives of millions of Americans.
A Wisconsin consumer alleges in a proposed class action lawsuit that StubHub has unlawfully pulled back on its longstanding “FanProtect” guarantee by refusing to issue cash refunds for tickets to events canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ticketmaster L.L.C. and Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. are more hot water today, as the companies face a new proposed class action over their alleged manipulation of the secondary market for event tickets.
