The deal covers all individuals or entities in the United States to whose cell phone number United HealthCare placed at least one artificial or prerecorded voice call regarding the Optum HouseCalls program relating to a plan that is not or was not their own plan, or that of someone they represent, at any time between October 12, 2019 and February 10, 2025.
Eligible class members who submit a valid claim form by April 25, 2025 will be entitled to receive a share of the $3,495,000 settlement fund, according to the Optum HouseCalls TCPA settlement website.
Per the site, the individual payout amount per class member is estimated to be between $50 and $125, though the final figure will depend on the total number of valid claims that are submitted.

To submit a claim, you will need your unique claim ID and PIN, which are typically found on the personalized settlement notice you may have received about the deal. The settlement agreement resolving the United HealthCare class action lawsuit was preliminarily approved by the court on February 10, 2025. Next, the court must determine whether to grant final approval to the terms of the deal at a hearing set for July 10, 2025.
If the settlement receives ultimate court approval, cash payments will be mailed to eligible class members within 30 days following the date the deal goes into effect, the website relays. The process may be prolonged by appeals, which must be resolved before settlement payouts are issued.
