RSC Group, LLC and the company’s owner have been hit with a lawsuit filed in New York by eight former construction laborers who claim they were not paid properly for overtime work.
According to the case, the plaintiffs did not receive time-and-a-half wages for hours worked in excess of 40 each week. The men further allege they were deprived of wage statements and inappropriately paid every two-and-a-half weeks instead of on a weekly basis.
Lastly, the suit charges that the defendants fired one plaintiff in retaliation for complaining about three weeks of unpaid wages.
