Naraine v. Automobile Workforce Llc
Filed: November 23, 2018 ◆§ 1:18cv6696
A former manual worker for General Workforce has filed suit against the company over claims that he did not receive proper wages for overtime work.
New York
A former manual worker for General Workforce has filed a proposed class action against the company in which the man alleges he did not receive proper wages for overtime work.
From April through November 2018, the plaintiff earned $13 an hour handling stocking and packing duties for companies the staffing solutions firm contracted with, the suit says. The man alleges he was regularly scheduled to work at least 59 hours each week but was not paid at a time-and-a-half rate for his overtime hours. On top of that, the plaintiff says he was not compensated at all for an additional 20 to 25 hours spent transporting the defendant’s employees to and from work each week.
