Skoda, Minotti Co., CPA and an individual owner are on the receiving end of a lawsuit that claims they owe employees unpaid overtime wages. The plaintiff in the case says she was employed by the defendants as an administrative assistant and worked more than 60 hours per week for a fixed salary. According to the suit, she performed non-exempt duties and should have been eligible under the Fair Labor Standards Act for overtime, but instead was allegedly denied her rightful time-and-a-half compensation for the hours she worked above 40 each week.
