Royal Events Flowers Inc. and its owner are the defendants in a proposed collective and class action filed by a former table and events planner who says he was not paid mandatory minimum, overtime or spread-of-hours wages. The plaintiff, who the case states worked for the defendants from January through July 2017 for at most $9 per hour, claims he worked seven days per week, totaling roughly 84 hours per week, without uninterrupted breaks on any workday.
