Lin et al. v. Wang’s Great Wall Inc.
Filed: August 18, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-06292
The lawsuit claims the operators of the New York City restaurant failed to pay delivery workers proper wages.
A proposed collective action in New York alleges defendant Wang’s Great Wall Inc., which operates the Great Wall restaurant in New York City, and one individual with control of the business failed to pay delivery workers proper wages. The suit’s three named plaintiffs, who the case says worked for the defendants until July 25, 2017, allege the defendants’ non-payment of proper minimum, overtime, and spread-of-hours wages, as well as failure to provide mandatory wage information and documentation, was a willful violation of state and federal laws. The plaintiffs each claim they worked at least 79 hours per week without proper pay.
