Filed: May 8, 2018 ◆§ 8:18cv1130
A man who worked for River Strand Golf & Country Club, Inc. has filed suit against the company claiming he and other employees weren’t paid premium overtime wages.
Florida
A man who worked for River Strand Golf & Country Club, Inc. has filed suit against the company claiming he and other employees weren’t paid premium overtime wages. The plaintiff says he was employed as a cook and was also responsible for performing cleaning services for the defendant. According to the complaint, he regularly worked more than 40, and many times more than 65, hours per week but wasn’t paid time-and-a-half wages for the hours over 40 as mandated by the Fair Labor Standards Act.
The suit takes further issue with the defendant’s supposed failure to post information regarding employees’ rights.
