Last Updated on May 8, 2018
Giner v. Unlimited Electrical Contractors Corp. et al.
Filed: September 19, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-23431-JEM
An electrician formerly employed by Unlimited Electrical Contractors Corp. claims the company and its owner failed to pay proper wages for all hours worked.
Florida
Unlimited Electrical Contractors Corp. and its owner are the defendants in a former employee’s lawsuit that alleges the company owes unpaid overtime wages. The case says the plaintiff, an electrician who is no longer employed by the defendants, worked an average of 44 hours per week between December 2016 and August 2017 without being paid time-and-a-half wages for all hours worked past 40 each week. The lawsuit claims the alleged non-payment of overtime was a willful and intentional violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
