New York
A proposed collective action has been filed against Twin Donut Inc., Jerome TD LLC, 218 TD LLC, and two individuals who control the business alleging they failed to pay their employees proper wages. The plaintiffs, two former cooks, claim they worked for the defendants between 50 and 60 hours per week without being paid time-and-a-half overtime wages. According to the suit, they were always paid in cash and also never received spread-of-hours wages for the shifts they worked that lasted longer than 10 hours.
