TruckPro, LLC (which does business as TruckPro – Orlando) is facing a proposed class action lawsuit that claims it denied its warehouse employees proper overtime wages. The plaintiff in the case, a Florida man who was employed as “delivery warehouse personnel,” says he often worked more than 40 hours per week without receiving time-and-a-half premium wages for hours worked over 40. He further claims he was responsible for performing “closing procedures” at the warehouse after hours but was not paid for this time because he was unable to log into the defendant’s timekeeping system. Finally, the suit argues that the defendant automatically deducted meal breaks from the plaintiff’s hours even when he worked through them, further adding to his allegedly unpaid wages.
