A proposed class action claims defendants Trojan Labor and Complete Development, Inc. failed to pay hourly workers proper overtime wages in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The lawsuit seeks the recovery of allegedly unpaid wages, as well as relief related to the defendants’ alleged termination of the plaintiff in retaliation for his objections to supposedly not being paid for all hours worked.
The plaintiff, more specifically, claims he was not paid for time spent traveling between job sites. Moreover, the defendants allegedly withheld approximately three to five hours of wages from the plaintiff from his last day of work. From the case:
