South Florida Tile Delivery & Installation, Corp. and an individual with control of the business are facing a former employee’s claims that he was not paid overtime wages in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. The complaint alleges that the man worked for the defendants as a delivery helper between August 2003 and February 2018. He says he put in an average of 70 hours of work per week but never received time-and-a-half premium wages for the hours he worked above 40.
