Three companies that share offices, employees and centralized control of a Miami, Florida restaurant are the defendants in a proposed class action alleging workers were not paid proper overtime wages dating back at least three years. In his lawsuit against The Colony Hotel Inc., Columbus Restaurant LLC and MMPB Group, LLC, the plaintiff alleges he and other cooks worked approximately 55 hours per week without time-and-a-half overtime pay for all hours worked past 40. The lawsuit seeks more than $10,500 in damages.
