A former employee of Manley Laundromat, Inc. has filed a proposed collective action against the company and two individual owners over alleged wage and hour law violations.
A former employee of Manley Laundromat, Inc. has filed a proposed collective action against the company and two individual owners over alleged wage and hour law violations. The plaintiff says she worked approximately 87.5 hours per week for the defendants between February 2005 and October 2017 without receiving appropriate minimum, overtime, or spread-of-hours wages. According to the suit, the defendants failed to keep an accurate record of her hours and neglected to provide her with required wage documents in violation of the New York Labor Law.
