Filed: July 9, 2018 ◆§ 2:18cv3923
Song’s Family Food 2, Song’s Family Food 3, Song’s Family Food 4, and four individual managers are facing a lawsuit alleging labor law violations.
New York
Song’s Family Food 2 Inc, Song’s Family Food 3 Inc, Song’s Family Food 4 Inc, and four individual managers are defendants in a proposed collective and class action that claims the defendants violated federal and state labor laws. The plaintiff, a former employee, worked for the defendants from February to August 2015 and again from October to July 2017. The woman, who claims to have regularly worked 75 hours per week, says she received less than minimum wage per hour worked and no “spread of hours” or time-and-a-half overtime pay. The plaintiff also claims she advanced $3,000 to the defendants that was never returned and never received paystubs or a wage notice at her time of hire.
