Clark v. Tiny Dancer, Inc.
Filed: June 28, 2017 ◆§ 8:17-cv-01547-MSS-MAP
A Sarasota, FL McDonald's operating company is facing a class action for allegedly failing to pay crew members proper overtime wages.
Sarasota, Florida McDonald’s franchise operator Tiny Dancer, Inc. is the defendant in a proposed class action alleging it failed to pay proper wages. The lawsuit, citing possible Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) violations, claims the plaintiff worked more than 60 hours or more during many workweeks but was not paid at the time-and-a-half hourly overtime rate for hours worked over 40. The plaintiff claims that when she would review her work time on the company’s computer, her overtime hours would be missing.
