Cruz et al v. Royal Water Damage Restoration, Inc.
Filed: November 30, 2017 ◆§ 2:17cv5401
Two plaintiffs claim Royal Water Damage Restoration owes current and former laborers unpaid time-and-a-half overtime wages.
Pennsylvania
Two plaintiffs have filed a proposed collective action against Royal Water Damage Restoration, Inc. on behalf of current and former laborers who the lawsuit claims are owed unpaid overtime wages. The plaintiffs, whose tenures with the defendant ended at separate times in 2017, say they regularly worked more than 40 hours per week without time-and-a-half overtime pay. One plaintiff, by way of example, the case notes, worked 63.5 hours during one week in September 2017 without overtime wages in alleged violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
