A proposed collective action has been filed against Red Carpet Management LLC and an individual owner over claims that they failed to pay their employees proper overtime wages and provide accurate wage documents. The plaintiff – who was employed by the defendants as a porter – says he worked between 40 and 70 hours per week without receiving any overtime compensation for the hours he worked above 40. He further claims that employees were not given weekly wage statements that accurately recorded their hours and rates of pay.
