Florida
Paramount Transportation Logistics Services, LLC; R&L Carriers, Inc.; and AFC Worldwide Express, Inc. are staring down a former account executive’s proposed class action filed over allegedly unpaid overtime wages stemming from employee misclassification. The plaintiff, who worked for the domestic and international shipping companies from December 2013 through August 2017, says he and other account execs nationwide were improperly classified as overtime-exempt until the end of 2016, when they finally began receiving time-and-a-half hourly overtime pay.
