Alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and North Dakota labor laws are at the center of a proposed class and collective action filed by a woman who claims defendants Perfect Pasta Enterprises L.L.C. and Jimmy’s Pizza, Inc. failed to pay proper overtime wages. The plaintiff, who worked for the defendants from January to July 2016, claims the companies paid certain employees at a day rate without time-and-a-half compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 each week.
