A proposed class and collective action has been filed against Paramount Choice Services, Inc. over allegations that it failed to pay its employees proper wages and provide them with required wage statements. The plaintiff says he worked between 48 and 70 hours per week during his employment with the defendant but was paid at his straight hourly rate for all hours worked without receiving overtime wages for weekly hours worked above 40.
The suit further claims the defendant deprived its employees of weekly wage statements detailing their hours and rates of pay.
