A proposed collective action out of Florida federal court claims Palm Springs eatery McKenna’s Place deprived two former employees of required overtime wages. The two plaintiffs worked as a dishwasher and cook for the restaurant from 2015 until April and May 2018, respectively, the lawsuit says. According to the complaint, the former employees regularly worked an average of 60 hours each week without time-and-a-half overtime pay, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
