A former hibachi chef at Jacksonville, Florida’s Okinawa Japanese Grillhouse and Sushi Bar has filed suit against the restaurant’s owners and operators claiming he wasn't paid premium overtime wages.
A former hibachi chef at Jacksonville, Florida’s Okinawa Japanese Grillhouse and Sushi Bar has filed suit against the restaurant’s owners and operators over unpaid wage claims. The man alleges he worked for the defendants between October 2016 and February 2018 without being paid time-and-a-half overtime wages for the hours he worked over 40 each week. The case claims the defendants also failed to keep proper time records as required under federal law.
