A class action has been filed against New York restaurant Le Bilboquet by a former busser who claims he is owed unpaid overtime and minimum wages.
A class action has been filed against New York restaurant Le Bilboquet by a former busser who claims he is owed unpaid overtime and minimum wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The lawsuit also claims the defendants unlawfully utilized tip credits by requiring the plaintiff and class members to share tips with tip-ineligible employees, such as managers. According to the complaint, the plaintiff frequently worked in excess of 40 hours per week without receiving overtime.
The complaint states that the proposed class may include as many as 60 members.
