Pineda et al v. Kate One Corporation et al
Filed: February 1, 2018 ◆§ 1:18cv914
A former employee claims Eddy's Eats failed to pay minimum, overtime and spread-of-hours wages.
Kate One Corporation, which does business as New York City delicatessen Eddy’s Eats, and its owner are the defendants in a lawsuit in which the plaintiff says he was not paid mandatory minimum, time-and-a-half overtime and spread-of-hours wages. Employed by the defendants from March 2014 through January 2018, the plaintiff claims he put in around 63 hours per week without being compensated for all hours worked. The case says the plaintiff was paid cash wages each week without being provided with a statement detailing the number of hours worked or his hourly pay rate.
