A lawsuit claims the West New York, NJ women's clothing retailer failed to pay proper wages and grant the plaintiff rest breaks of any kind.
The company that operates women’s clothing store Know Known in West New York, New Jersey is on the receiving end of a proposed collective action in which a former employee claims he is owed unpaid overtime. The plaintiff, who’s worked for defendant N J Know Know, Inc. as a cleaner, porter and security guard since March 2010, claims he works anywhere from 48 to 58 hours per week without proper time-and-a-half overtime compensation. The man further claims he has never been granted breaks of any kind, nor given accurate wage documents.
