Choi's Potisman Cleaner, Inc. Potisman Cleaners of New York, Inc. Potisman Cleaners, Inc.
New York
The companies and individual owners who operate Potisman Cleaners in New York City’s East Village are on the receiving end of a proposed collective action in which the plaintiff claims he’s owed unpaid overtime wages. The plaintiff, who the case says ironed clothes for the defendants from November 2011 through August 2016, claims he regularly worked as many as 57 hours per week for a fixed salary without time-and-a-half pay for all hours worked past 40. In addition to supposedly unpaid wages, the plaintiff claims he was never provided with mandatory wage notices, nor a means with which he could keep track of his work time.
