Log Creek Logging, Inc. has been named in a lawsuit filed by a “skidder operator” who claims he was robbed of proper wages.
Log Creek Logging, Inc. and an individual with operational control of the business are staring down a lawsuit filed by a “skidder operator” who claims he was robbed of proper wages.
Filed in South Carolina, the suit says the plaintiff worked at least 48 hours each week yet only received payment for 40. Rather than compensate workers for overtime work, the logging company, the complaint continues, allegedly provided workers with compensatory time off, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
