Legacy Landscaping, Inc. and an individual owner are facing a proposed collective action filed by four former or current employees who claim the landscaping company failed to pay them proper wages. The allegations center around the defendants’ supposed failure to compensate the plaintiffs – who were employed as laborers – for time spent driving from their last landscaping job each day back to the company yard. The suit argues that employees are owed minimum wages for these hours and overtime wages for all hours worked over 40 each week.
