The suit was filed by two former employees who worked as dispatchers for the defendants until November 2017. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiffs’ duties included receiving service requests and assigning drivers and equipment to service requests throughout Texas and surrounding areas. The plaintiffs, who were paid on an hourly basis, claim that they regularly worked in excess of 40 hours per week – specifically, up to 91.5 hours per week – without lawful time-and-a-half overtime compensation.
