Dean v. W. Aviation, LLC
Filed: November 20, 2017 ◆§ 0:17-cv-62282-BB
The lawsuit claims W. Aviation would illegally modify its workers' time records to avoid its federal obligation to pay overtime.
In a lawsuit filed in Florida, a former employee of W. Aviation, LLC claims the private aircraft company engaged in a scheme whereby its management would “alter, delete, and modify” workers’ time records to avoid paying overtime wages. The lawsuit, citing possible Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) abuses, claims the plaintiff and proposed class members regularly worked in excess of 40 hours per week without time-and-a-half pay.
