Mills v. General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. et al
Filed: April 10, 2018 ◆§ 8:18cv855
A proposed collective action has been filed against General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc.
Florida
A proposed collective action has been filed against General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. and General Dynamics Corp. over allegations that the companies do not pay their call center customer service representatives proper overtime wages in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The plaintiff in the case is a current employee who claims she works more than 40 hours per week without being paid premium time-and-a-half overtime wages for the hours she works over 40. According to the complaint, the defendants do not provide a method for employees to accurately record all their hours worked despite frequently requiring them to perform work before they “clock in” to a timekeeping system.
