Florida
The Prudential Insurance Company of America is on the receiving end of a proposed collective action filed by a former investigator who claims he was not paid proper wages. Specifically, the man claims he accrued between 10 and 20 hours of overtime every week but did not receive premium time-and-a-half overtime wages for those hours in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The lawsuit calls the defendant’s alleged non-payment of overtime “willful and intentional.”
