Franklin v. Magnolia Flooring Mill, Llc et al
Filed: December 15, 2017 ◆§ 1:17cv1073
Magnolia Flooring Mill, LLC and Watson Sawmill Incorporated have been accused in a proposed class and collective action of miscalculating employees’ overtime wages.
Arkansas
Magnolia Flooring Mill, LLC and Watson Sawmill Incorporated have been accused in a proposed class and collective action of miscalculating employees’ overtime wages. The plaintiff says he was employed by the flooring companies as a forklift driver and often worked more than 40 hours per week. He argues that although the defendants paid him overtime wages, they failed to include his bonuses when determining his time-and-a-half overtime rate. The complaint claims the plaintiff’s “regular rate of pay” from which his employers calculated his overtime rate should have consisted of all compensation he received during a given pay period, including bonuses.
