SKC Enterprises, Inc. is on the receiving end of a proposed class and collective action filed by an Arkansas woman who claims she and other assistant managers were not paid proper minimum and overtime wages while working for the defendant. The plaintiff says she worked at one of the defendant’s Rent One furniture rental stores for more than 40 hours per week but didn’t receive compensation for all the hours she worked. The suit alleges that the defendant paid employees proper time-and-a-half pay for some of their overtime hours, but did not account for all the hours they worked over 40 each week.
