Roberts v. Professional Case Management Services of America, Inc. et al.
Filed: October 23, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-04217-ELR
Professional Case Management Services of America owes unpaid wages, a lawsuit out of Georgia claims.
Georgia
Professional Case Management Services of America, Inc., a company that provides daily assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, and one individual with control over the business are the defendants in a proposed collective action that alleges support coordinators were not paid proper overtime wages. The plaintiff, who alleges the individual defendant in the suit “acted intentionally and maliciously,” claims she worked several hours each week beyond the previous agreed upon 45-hour workweek and was not paid time-and-a-half overtime. More specifically, the complaint claims the plaintiff was not paid for time spent traveling to meet with clients each week and instead received only gas and mileage reimbursements. Even further, the case says the plaintiff would often respond to emails and phone calls from supervisors at various times at night and on weekends, time for which the woman claims she was not paid for. All told, the plaintiff alleges she worked 60 hours per week, being paid overtime for only five hours per week, time that the case says amounts to roughly $16,380 in unpaid wages.
