Sida v. Pintura Construction Llc et al
Filed: June 19, 2018 ◆§ 2:18cv806
A Pennsylvania man who worked for a group of businesses performing non-exempt manual labor claims he wasn't paid proper overtime wages.
A Pennsylvania man has filed suit against a group of businesses and two individuals claiming the defendants failed to pay him proper overtime wages. The lawsuit names the following businesses as defendants:
- Pintura Construction LLC;
- Churchill Community Development LP;
- SJ Group LLC;
- Amerihost Services LLC;
- Motel 6 Banksville Road;
- Pittsburgh Studios LP;
- Paradigm Consultants LLC;
- Global Host Inc.;
- Windows R Us LLC; and
- SJ Group Holding LLC.
According to the suit, the plaintiff worked for the defendants in various locations across Pennsylvania, performing non-exempt manual labor, including “painting, plaster work, sheet rock repair, roofing, plumbing, and carpentry.” Despite often working more than 10-hour shifts six to seven days per week, the man says he never received time-and-a-half overtime pay for the weekly hours he worked over 40.
