Agaronov v. Kdg Contracting Corp
Filed: January 8, 2018 ◆§ 1:18cv129
A former carpenter for KDG Contracting Corp has filed suit against the company claiming it failed to pay him and other employees proper overtime wages.
A former employee has filed suit against KDG Contracting Corp claiming the defendant failed to pay him and other employees proper overtime wages. The plaintiff says he worked for the construction company as a carpenter and often worked more than 40 hours per week without receiving time-and-a-half premium wages for the hours he worked above 40. He claims he was paid his regular rate of $13 to $15 per hour for all hours worked and that the defendant’s wage statements failed to accurately reflect the plaintiff’s rates of pay, including overtime rates.
The suit further argues that the defendant did not post required wage notices informing employees of their rights under state and federal labor laws.
