Decorative Concrete Complete and one individual with operational control are facing a proposed class action citing alleged labor law violations.
Decorative Concrete Complete, Inc. and one individual who owns and manages the construction company are facing a proposed class action citing alleged labor law violations. The plaintiff, a former employee, claims he regularly worked over 60 hours per week from January through April 2018, including 10-hour shifts on three Saturdays, but only received payment for 40 hours of weekly work. The plaintiff further alleges that when he complained about this lack of overtime payment to the owner and manager, he was assaulted and fired immediately.
“[The plaintiff] had to flee the place in fear for his personal safety,” the lawsuit alleges.
The case argues that the plaintiff is entitled to compensation for his allegedly unpaid wages and retaliatory discharge.
